Power is
When I surrender
When I see myself grand
And yet so little
Power is
That force, that being
That effect on everything it touches
And yet it makes you untouchable
Power is
A person
Not you;
Not me.
I’m powerful when I’m a conduit
When power goes through me
Not trying to keep it as it is foolish
In this side of life we
Are not able to hold it
Thus we often forget that
Power is
A poison.
